Give it All to God
Every 'devotee' takes God as a pickle to the main course of the world
Abirami Anthathi says, enakku ullathu ellam unathendrae allithu vittaen – All that I have as mine, I have surrendered to You. That is the highest level of a devotee’s approach.
But it is not so in the practical ways of the world. Every ‘devotee’ takes God as a pickle to the main course of the world. That is all. They are not really willing to give to God, what they have, however much the elders have advised.
It is very tough for worldly people to give away everything to God. So, offer a little something in place of nothing, try to offer something to God. It is a very rare individual that offers all that he or she has, to God. It is very difficult.
People concoct devious schemes to justify their means and ends. They assume they are intelligent and somehow maneuver through situations because they do not want to share and they do not want to give up their hard earned wealth or hardly earned wealth.
