Management Techniques
Plan your work schedule and be systematic about completing them
Do not load your mind with thoughts of all the tasks you have taken on yourself. When you have too much to handle, make it a practice to note down and strike out the tasks when you complete them.
That is what I do. I have a notebook in which I note down every move that seems essential for the growth of our organization and then I assign the tasks to the concerned volunteers. That way, I do not clutter my mind but I also ensure that the work is done properly.
Plan your work schedule and be systematic about completing them. Organize the tasks on hand into sub-tasks and have a time frame to complete each one of them.
Do not stop with planning; implement your plans. I set apart time for all my activities, including attending to all correspondence — letters and e-mails, reading the newspaper, attending to the work connected with school, hospital, counseling, etc.
I have my own work ethics and systems. I never keep anything pending. These are simple management techniques that you can extend to your personal and official life.
Nothing can be changed about a given situation. How we handle it, determines the success our life will achieve.
