Under the Pretext of Spirituality
In the name of Spirituality, people seek marriage, children, material wealth, status, promotion, car, bungalow, name, fame etc.
Years ago, I formed this quotation. Siddhartha sought the Light of Wisdom; he became the Buddha. You too seek the light. Even if you do not become the Buddha, you will become a Buddhisali (intelligent and wise) at least. By seeking, you will gain more experiences.
But there are no takers. Jesus also said, ‘Ask and you shall receive’ ‘Seek and you shall get’. ‘Knock and the doors shall open’. If no one asks, how will they receive? If no one knocks, how will the doors open? If no one seeks, how will they get?
Even the so-called chase of Anmigam (Spirituality), or going to Church, Mosque, Temple etc is to push themselves further into maya (illusion). In the name of Spirituality, people seek marriage, children, material wealth, status, promotion, car, bungalow, name, fame etc. They use worship as a pretext. No one seeks the goodness of God.
Mukthi is not living in an air conditioned room in heaven. It is the art of leading life in this world with no thoughts to hinder the path.
