Journey of Atma

All meetings have some past connections

When two souls are drawn towards each other, it is a miracle. Even in Ramayana, you can see this. Gautama Rishi cursed his wife Akalikai to become a stone. She sought redemption. He said, ‘One day Rama will come this side, and when His feet touches you, your human form will be restored to you’.

This discussion happened several years before Rama incarnated. So, it was destined that Rama should walk that forest path and when His Feet touched that stone, the Rishipatni Akalika will regain her human form.

Like that, all meetings have some past connections. The minute it has to come has also been destined already.

Secondly, apart from the connection you have with me, you have some connection with the other souls also. That is why we are all here together in this hall singing the glory of the Lord, and participating in this hour. It is only a flashback of a previous incident; a re-enactment.

We have already met in that context, some spiritual happenings which impressed our Atma and it wanted those experiences again and so it happens again. This is the significance of the Atma’s journey in this world.

You may not find me doing pooja ritually. But 24 hours a day I am in prayers, or rather, prayerfulness is my eternal state
