Divine Bliss

A 'Jeevan muktha' can take as many connections as possible

Swami Raghavendra was born in Bhuvanagiri near Chidambaram in Tamil Nadu and he attained Samadhi at Mantralaya in Andhra Pradesh, near river Tunghabadra. From Chidambaram, He went to Andhra Pradesh, a place called Athoni Taluk, a very dry place. He asked the Nizam of Hyderabad to grant him this place, Mantralaya. The Nizam said, ‘I have many places near the Godavari River, which are very fertile. Why are you asking for this dry place?’

Raghavendra replied, ‘When I was Prahalad, in my previous birth, I had performed Yagams here. This place will rend me victorious. That is why, I am seeking this place.’ He pointed to a stone and instructed a Thulasi Maadam and a Brindavan to be built there. Everyone asked ‘Why?’ He replied, ‘When Lord Rama was in exile, He sat on this stone. Rama stood for upholding Dharma.’ Now, Swami Raghavendra’s Samadhi is at the same place.

In worldly sense, can you believe all this? Prahalad came before many thousands of years and Rama came before 3,000 years. This is Spirituality. These are all athmic connections. All of you are related to me by your Atma. A ‘Jeevan muktha’ can take as many connections as possible. This is what Divine bliss is.

Spirituality is the subject that bestows that equanimity of mind
