The Chase is Better Than the Catch

When you reflect over what I am saying, you will understand

The kick a hunter gets from chasing a deer, panting over miles, lasts only until he shoots it with his arrow. After it falls prey to the arrow, the hunting process loses its charm.

You enjoy the beauty of various flowers in the garden, but when you pluck them and use, the charm lasts for only a couple of hours. The flowers wither and you discard them.

When you reflect over what I am saying, you will understand. All worldly activities are also like this. The ties of this world that lead to our activities, land us feeling exhausted and depleted of our energy and not finding the Bliss we were seeking.

As long as we are engrossed in our chase for something, there is a hunter’s thrill. It loses its lure the moment we get what we wanted.

The chase is more interesting than the Hunt.

Do not bother about small tests or setbacks at emotional, rational or physical levels. Count the blessings you have. Have total faith in the absolute kindness, absolute good of God for you.
