God Cares, Always

Because we are being helped by God or some divine energy, we don’t feel the extent of suffering; our life boat is sailing.

Bhishma is lying on a bed of arrows and Krishna takes the Pandavas to him. Bhishma dissolves into uncontrollable tears. The Pandavas ask ‘Great Grandpa, you are such a great warrior; why are you weeping?’ Bhishma says, ‘I am crying for you, not for me. Krishna is the Lord Himself. You have the very Lord with you, yet you are undergoing so many trials and tribulations, I was thinking where you would be without Him near you!’

We too are like that. Because we are being helped by God or some divine energy, we don’t feel the extent of suffering; our life boat is sailing. We think of God only when we face a problem. When the going is good, no one thanks God for it.

When there is power, you are enjoying the breeze from the fan and the light from the lamp. Otherwise you will fume about the horrible heat, or the darkness, won’t you?

The Electricity called God is lighting up every facet of your life keeping you cool with its care, but you do not think of it in gratitude. The slightest hurdle occurs, and you start blaspheming God.

God is totally impartial; He does not seek anything from you, be it praise or condemnation.
