A Life Worthy of God’s Call

The Govinda in the statue should beckon you

It is of no consequence whether or not we pray to God. What is important is, leading a life with a philosophy such that we are worthy of God’s recognition. I often comment on two stages — one is the stage when you call out for God. The other is the stage when God beckons for you.

You are in queue waiting to have a vision of Venkatachalapathy or Pazhani Muruga at the Temple. Then you will be calling out Govinda, Govinda and awaiting your turn. You are proclaiming God’s name. That is one stage.

The Govinda in the statue should beckon you, Welcome, Ramaswamy! Are you doing well? When you are at this stage, then it means you have succeeded in Spirituality. How does your calling out Govinda, Govinda matter to God? He should call you and enquire about your welfare. That is the stage you should achieve in your life. It is possible — the stage when God beckons your name.

Not you calling out God’s name but God calling out your name. God should beckon you. It is possible to attain that state.

Surrender everything that happens to you, to the Lord within. This is the state of self-realization.
