Be a Seeker of Real Contentment

All of us are celestials and we are touring this world. Once our 'outing' is over, we need to return to our Home.

Siva Shankar Baba is ready to embrace death with open arms; I am not distressed; I am contented. I consider it a wasteful exercise repeatedly undergoing life’s experiences, when I have grown beyond life.

Once you have done with your excursion to a tourist place, what is left but to pack off for home? I was on an excursion to Earth, I have had my fill of life’s experiences and now I am all set to pack off for my Eternal Home.

All of us are celestials and we are touring this world. Once our ‘outing’ is over, we need to return to our Home.

When you understand this, you will gradually experience detachment and progress towards contentment.

And then, just as I do, you will be in meditation internally, even though you carry on with your responsibilities externally. Nothing will affect you. At that stage, there is no place for worldly thoughts.

But remember - you cannot leave the world in a state of distress. You can bid farewell to it, only when you achieve contentment, when you grow beyond thoughts.

Though I express my affection to every one of you, I am detached. This is the yardstick for spiritual prowess. One must be with everything but be beyond it too.
