The Only Capital

The Source of everything holds the everlasting Grace and awaits your return unto Him

When you venture on a business, the first thing you calculate or seek is ‘capital’. When you visit a temple, even if you visit all the sannidhis (sanctums) of all the deities consecrated there, you are intent on getting through to the Moolasthaanam (prime sanctum sanctorum).

When a crocodile caught the foot of the elephant Gajendra, the elephant called out ‘Aadhi moolame!’ (Prime Lord — the Source of All).

Manickavachagar sings, ‘The Source of everything holds the everlasting Grace and awaits your return unto Him’. Everything functions as this Source has ordained and so it is with Samratchana. Whatever happens here is yet another of the Lord’s Thiruvilayaadals (the divine pastime of the Lord).

Yes, my only Capital is He. It is because He is my only investment that whatever I do always succeeds. That is the return on investment that He unfailingly gives, every time, all the time, to all those who invest faith in Him.

A true devotee of God will face tests but never failures.
