The Commitment That Counts
There is no disparity in the spiritual realm
‘Kondal vannanaik kovalanay vennai Undavayan ennullam kavarndhanai Andarkon Aniyarangan enn amudhinaik Kanda kangal matronrinaik kaanave’
I have seen the One whose color is like dark rainclouds He is the one with the mouth that swallowed the butter of cowherds, He is the Lord of the devas, He is Lord Ranganatha, He is my nectar, my life! My eyes have seen my Lord and will not see anything else !
— Sri Tiruppanazhwar’s Amalanadhipiran
Tiruppanazhwar hailed from the barber clan. Lord Ranganatha instructed Loba sarangamunivar, the chief priest of SriRangam Temple, to hoist Tiruppanazhwar on his shoulders and bring him into the Temple, and the overwhelmed Azhwar sang 10 pasurams (Amalanaathipiran) and merged into the Lord.
Every human being is the same entity; Divisions of labour based on the skills of people later became castes! People started marrying within their work communities for carrying on with the business and this gave rise to caste divisions.
Only people confuse themselves. Anyone can aspire. There is no disparity in the spiritual realm. It is the commitment which counts.
Elevate your thoughts, mellow your heart and nurture qualifications necessary to attain salvation.
