Beneath the Facade
You can attempt to understand Baba, but don’t ever commit the mistake of trying to judge him
Siva Shankar Baba moves with you and observes you as one among you. There is no one between you and Baba, whose help you need to meet Baba. Baba makes his own judgements and is not guided by any recommendations. And he is observing you 24 hours, all days of a year.
How can you mislead him by mere play-acting all the time? Not possible. You will be revealed in your true colours at one point of time or the other. Baba gauges your maturity. And to confuse you, he may purposely put on an act, so that he can assess you, based on your responses. You may relish his loving ways. He may suddenly criticize you for some action of yours, and scrutinize your reaction to it.
You can attempt to understand Baba, but don’t ever commit the mistake of trying to judge him. Then, he will start confusing you further. Beneath this jolly facade, there is a fire of seriousness. It is up to you to condition yourself to enjoy its warmth or run away from the scorching heat. This is Siva Shankar Baba. You may not know Baba, but do not say he has not revealed this to you.
The faster you let go of your petty desires, the faster will you attain God.
