India is lagging behind
In Singapore, a 70-year old ex-Prime Minister advocates physical exercise and fitness on TV. Every other country celebrates the importance of physical fitness. Only India does not attach any importance to it.
In so many such activities, India is lagging behind. As long as our body co-operates with us, we do not bother about it. When we fall sick and the doctor advises us to walk some miles everyday, we start our walking exercise. We could have done it earlier and safeguarded our health. There are so many people who drive to the place they walk from.
A doctor once advised a patient to actively involve in some sports to slim down. After six months, the patient went back to the doctor and complained that despite following the doctor’s advice, he had still not slimmed. The doctor asked him what he played and the patient replied ‘Cards’. That’s the present state of affairs. There are so many outdoor activities, we must get into one of them at least.
You have only earthly problems. Earthly problems can be solved with earthly solutions. You need not look to the skies for solutions, for all they need is little psychology, little presence of mind and little intelligence.
