A Guiding Hand
If you have faith in yourself, that too is faith in God.
I agree that you are God. If you have faith in yourself, that too is faith in God. I agree that there is no separate entity called God. But till the time you reach that total, realized confidence in yourself, you need a guide.
Some time back, a family from Kotturpuram who worship Seshadri Swamigal invited me to their house for Sathsangh. In my discourse there, I explained that all these poojas are required for understanding the functioning of the Lord’s Kingdom.
If you send a petition to the Prime Minister of India, it will reach his assistant first. That assistant may read the letter and dump it in the trash bin. If he is honest, he will send it across to the concerned department. You may get a reply from him that ‘your petition has been forwarded to the concerned department of your state for consideration’. It is possible that those department officials throw it into the dustbin after reading it. Or it may be filed for further consideration or rejection.
When you want some work done with the Prime Minister, you will first get in touch with the politicians close to him for recommending your case. They will plead your case with the Prime Minister or the concerned department to consider your case. That department will not check out the worth of your petition. You will be granted the favour based on the status of the politician who has proposed or recommended your case.
If you really want your file to be considered, such a channel is required, even in your known circle. If you ask why such things happen, why these government officials cannot do their duty properly — there is no answer. This is how things happen. God’s kingdom functions in a similar way.
God does not take into account any of these worldly matters. He is in a state of eternal bliss — unmindful of His existence.
What is due will automatically come about. You must not waste time seeking anything
