Under a Watchful Eye
Look upon every being you meet in this world as a mirror image of God
Take this analogy. For a particular job in a company, 10 persons were sent an interview card and train ticket for the interview. The proprietor of the company had arranged for some persons to track the behaviour of these applicants. They were under observation throughout as to how they conducted themselves with the other passengers, porters, chauffeurs etc., and how they reacted to various circumstances. An opinion was formed based on that. Even before the candidates arrived at the venue of interview, the interviewing committee had conclusive information on each one of them. Obviously the candidate who was most well behaved in all places was appointed.
God is also watching every one of your actions in this world; He is examining how you use every second He has invested you with. You are assuming that you will be led to God after everything is over and that you can speak in your favour by detailing how many times you showed incense, burnt camphor etc. But that is not to be.
So how do you secure the treasured seat of honour with God? Look upon every being you meet in this world as a mirror image of God. Then you will not be able to hurt them by word or deed. Your life becomes your penance and salvation will come seeking you.
If you have decided to be in heaven (happiness), then nobody can force you into hell. But, if you have decided on hell (sorrow), then nobody can give you heaven. Choose what you want, and you will have it!
