Fully Human, Fully Divine

Siva Shankar Baba adopts human methodologies for his work of God, though he knows his celestial heights. Krishna knew, functioned and revealed Himself as a Celestial Presence in everything He did. Whereas, Rama, though He knew His Divine powers, never revealed His Celestial Heights.

When Viswamitra started proclaiming Rama’s Divinity, Rama signalled to the sage to stop, indicating, ‘I want to live as a human being and set an example. Do not reveal My Powers to anyone’.

Rama knew His Divinity, but wanted to exemplify how a human being must live, and therefore descended to mortal levels. And that is how Siva Shankar Baba functions. He leads the normal life of a human being, dressing like you do, speaking your language, but performing to excellence, to show you how you must work. He never fails in his dharma.
