Accept People As They Are

There is a good book, ‘Men are from Mars and Women are from Venus’. It is not that gentlemen are from Mars or ladies are from Venus; it describes the various differences in the aspirations and the interpretations of men and women.

You would have seen the film, ‘E.T’. Extra Terrestrial, in that film is a tiny creature with two big eyes and a small antenna. It comes to earth. Everyone feels very sympathetic towards it. This is because they know it is not going to harm anyone since it is puny in size.

Once you understand that your spouse or your kid or your parents or your friend or your boss are just creatures like E.T, then instead of harbouring anger, you will be sympathetic towards them. You will understand that they too come from some other planet (not really). That understanding will take you further in the long race of life.

I, whom God has enthroned in the seat of judgement, am able to adjust with you, tolerate you and accept you for what you are and I make diligent efforts moulding you in this thankless job of spirituality. Don’t you think you should follow suit?
