Form and Formless
Parameswara too can take on a form

Question: We offer worship to various forms of Gods. But why is there no ‘form’ for Siva and worship is offered to His form as Linga only?
It is not that there is no form. Neither form, nor formless. This is the meaning. Neither being, nor not being.
So Parameswara too can take on a form. If there is no form, how do you recognize the statue placed in Samratchana as Parameswara? How are you able to perceive the matted hair locks, serpent, the tresses adorned with the crescent moon and serving as a repository for the Ganges?
If there were no form, I would have placed only the SivaLinga. It has a form, it is formless too. Both are true.
Everyone in this world is God. All of God’s creations in this world are God’s images. Truth is God’s mirror image.
