Have It All

Money is an invisible foe. I call it the ‘gupta chatru’ (covert foe). As long as we do not get entangled in money, we are safe. If we get entwined in the web of that illusion, our life trundles downhill. Why must we hold on to money that is not necessary? We are well off. Ramarajya does not lack anything. It is well furnished.

We have done everything that we can think of. We do not have takers for all these facilities! There is nothing that the institution needs. I am planning to advertise in our magazine wrappers ‘Do not gift me anything. I have no need of dresses or any gift articles. Please avoid presents to me, even if they constitute your offering to God.’

People present so many trinkets, and because of my nature, I keep distributing them to whoever I meet. This is an unnecessary headache for me. I have no need for anything. I am self-sufficient and I do not believe in luxuries.

Think that you are the custodian of God’s wealth. And He has given you the opportunity to perform. When you realize this, you will feel a surge of happiness within you.
