Putting Principles into Practice
Given that all the Prophets preached the same message of love, how did the religious confusion and conflict arise?

In Tamil literature, Ramalinga Adigalar pictures a conversation between himself and Lord Shiva. Lord Shiva says, ‘People are fighting over religion and are dying. So go and remove their confusion…’ and goes on to complete, ‘loving all forms of life is what is dear to me. Fighting and dying over religion is not.’
Jesus said, ‘if one slaps you on the face show him your other cheek’. True followers of Jesus, don’t they have to follow this principle? Prophet Mohammed also said, ‘those who raise the sword will ultimately die by the sword’. The sad thing is that people don’t follow these principles.
Given that all the Prophets preached the same message of love, how did the religious confusion and conflict arise? Those who came behind them in the form of priests and others were not Prophets or saints but wanted to retain their influence over the masses. Hence, they started creating divisions and conflicts.
Jesus said love thy enemy. If you can’t take this on board and follow this totally, you can’t be a true Christian. How many of you have followed Rama or Krishna or Jesus in total? You have only created confusion and gone against these principles
If you have the time, I have the patience. If you do not have the time, I will decide the time.
