Perceptions of the Mind
Mind is a pseudo substance

You can term life as a journey unto death or you can say it is an evolution from birth. The option is yours, everything is based on how you perceive.
Do you feel sad every time there is a separation? No, it is only when you like a particular person and there is a separation from him or her, that you feel sad. When you do not like a person, you actually have a sense of relief and feel happy with any separation! It is all a perception of the mind.
Mind is a pseudo substance. And therefore what the mind dictates cannot be true. You may be having a pleasant conversation with someone. If someone else, whom you do not like, passes by, you immediately frown. It is the same face which puts on different expressions and all these are reflections of the mind!
You get the world at your terms only. Everything that happens to you is based on your likes and dislikes, what appeals to you and what you feel repulsive. So, if you like someone, separation causes abject distress; if you do not like someone, separation causes happiness. What do you achieve by holding on to someone who is transient himself? Then, separation too is good, because all worldly attachments are wasteful.
Just remember that God does only good and whatever God does is always for your good only. So, never attach importance to anything of the world.
Spirituality helps you understand that it is God who undergoes life’s experiences from within our physical forms. It is not you or I, but HE who experiences life!
